It's a secret . J/K! Actually it's something that I was sittin' around thinking about. I can spray paint my arse off but the paint seems to peel (Look at my A Arms). So this is something new that I tried. If it works like I think it will, alot of peeps can say goodbye to powder coating. Contemplating now on doing my Nerf bars. Think I will and after I ride this w/e I'll let ya know .

Had to bake it to get it to bond to the metal though. That also makes it just that much harder. My bumpers will be fine... it's those nerfs that we'll see if they hold up or not. Should be done w/ those tomorrow.

I was thinking of doing the same thing during my winter rebuild. Let us know how it holds up.

Don't get me wrong... PCing does look good. There are some things that using this on would be better than PCing. My front bumper takes more abuse and catches more debris than probably anything. Needs something tuff to protect it. My nerfs get slammed up against more than anything else (They also need that tuff protection). On the other hand a frame and a arms are more of the glamourous parts of the bike. Keep those shinny .

And nice looking bike btw as well .

Now I don't know what color nerfs to use... Which ones look better on the bike (Red or Black)???

Posted by: Ride1Rob

another red...

Posted by: Ride1Rob

Or black...

Posted by: Ride1Rob

another black...
