bought a used 2000 300ex for my son really cheap but it needs cylinder and head we have a 1987 250x with new topend but was run over can i use the cylinder piston and head of the 250x or do i need stuff for 300ex

you need stuff for a 300ex, beacause the 300ex is just a stroked 250x, so unless you want to get a custom piston made you have to run 300ex parts.

are you wanting to put the 250's head on the 300, if so im pretty sure that itll work, and you wont have to change cylinders or pistons or any thing

yzfmxer is right about the head, my bad. I was only thinking of the jug and piston.
