last weekend we took 5 quads to Louisiana to ride. 2 Hondas 3 Yamaha. when we got there all of the Yamahas had dead batterys. we had to pull start them all day. are Hondas started first kick all day. Honda Saved the Day. i have never been late to a gate when my battery was dead, or had to sit running on the line cause if i kill it i could restart it.

Got anything better to do than post $hi! like that in here?

I have neither been late to the gate because i got a kickstart on my yfz.

That dude is a clutz. Hard to believe that all (3) Yamis batteries were dead. Maybe he disconnected something on those guys bikes to keep them from shootin' around him .

ummmm.....

Man when i had my yfz, it would always start right up with no problems...

Now my 450r..you have to kick the damn thing at least 15 times before it will start...

Posted by: 450r51

u r an idiot man, i have never seen or heard of ne yfz doing this. im a 450r rider myself and what u posted is jsut retarded. and plus most racers that race where i live put a kickstart on there yfz.

My friends yfz did the same thing the last time we went riding but all it needed was a new battery. As for needing to kick the 450r 15 times you need some more muscle then first or second kick everytime.

we all know the YFZ is more powerful and better looking

haha, no its just the quad. The motor is extremely built and you know how hard 4 strokes can be to kick.

It doesn't matter how "built" it is, if the decompression is set correct and it's jetted correctly, it will start within a couple of kicks. The same applies to using the Hot Start.

i think we all know the YFZ i faster stock for stock..and that superquadguy dont need to be posting in here like that.

haha., I could believe that 3 yfz's battery went down.. But who said it take 15 kicks to start up a TRX 450R. Well it shouldn't. But why complain atleast the kick starter will never let you down.. A bike with a kick starter.. Is one of the best. simple. Designs. Durable!

well if the 450R takes you 15 kicks to start up .. use the choke.. Or just learn to kick start the bike. Hell i could sit down n kick start my bike!!!

Myself... I'd rather have a starter. Riding MX if I happen to get into a fix and the bike dies out, much rather push the button and go than have to start kickin'. Exspecially if I'm already tired.

Posted by: superquadguy

one kick and your on your way. that is with 13:1 built motor.

True but if your battery goes dead or something I guess it would be easier to kickstart it then push start it. haha

i stole this from sampleez on the 450r page, the guy posted this same thread there, i figured it was appropriate...

This is for Superquadguy...

Posted by: z400m1x

LMFAO!!!!

Posted by: PeeWee21

Look at the one that i left him in the 450R section, he'll like it real well!!!!!

Posted by: z400m1x

lol, wonder where he is???? he hasnt posted back in here. I'd think he would have something better to do other than post stupid $**** like that in a yfz forum.

Posted by: superquadguy

i don't. i have no life.

LOL

i just like to joke around. if your in Texas and your buddies don't pick on you or joke arond with you then they don't like you. so get over it. i have 4 different types of yamahas at the house.

Posted by: PeeWee21

I take it that you live in Texas. How close are you to Abiline?

I replace my piston every week, and I rotate the tires too. These Yamaha's are a lot of work!!

Last week I didn't change my piston, and with my bike running like trash I pulled only 5 bikes on my friends Honda.

Keep telling yourself that and maybe one day you will get over it.
