I have a little bit of play in my hub bearing. I really dont have time to get a new bearing and replace it this week. I was going to go riding this weekend and was wondering if you think it would hurt anything to ride with it. There isnt much play but there is some.

If it is just a tiny tiny bit you can ride...but go riding expecting the worst because your risking blowing it out...

what would be the worst case scenario?

your wheel will wobble extremely bad and you will have to load up and go home...

It could be that your hub threads are just shot and you need to buy a new one, try checking that

You'll be fine. In extreme cases you'll chew up your hub or spindle, but if its slight you should be fine. Mine have had a slight amount of play since it rolled off the showroom floor. Just ride it and fix it when you get back.

There was always some play in the berrings on my old 300ex, never affected anything, and they were in there for atleast 3 years.
