Look into the narrow frame, protrax 250r. It is set up very good for mx. To answer your question to the gut, narrow frame means that the frame is narrower in the front. Laeger did this for a lot of 250r frame. Just to let you know dave, this is Brendan.

Yes, we are picking you up. $4000.00 is a very very good deal on that r. The protrax is alone worth half of that.

The CR500 linkage was and still is one of the best linkages for the r frames.

It has PEP. About the only thing you would want to do is have Baldwins check the motor and maybe revalve the shocks. Mark can do some sweet things to that motor 250r over the winter.

I think I'll stick to doing my own motor work, its cheaper. I'll do to it whatever Mark tells me too though. I'd probablly take it to him for a good port and polish. Then depending on what the color scheme is, I'd change the plastics and get the baldwin graphics kit. Then I'd look into tires. I love those mxr4's on your 450.

Anyways, back to the point of this thread. This is a fast 330. You can ask him, he's seen it in action. I have no problem absolutely wasting 400ex's.

It is fast. Has a lot of bottom end. Rides pretty nice too.

The MXR4's hook up really good. Get fullbore plastic in red with the baldwin graphic kit.

Those are kind of recent, now it has works shocks, and AC mudscreen front bumper, baldwin gas tank vent valve, and 400ex a arms.
