i have, and love, the dr.d race version, and i ride mx and trail mostly. it's an awesome pipe for the money, imo. i got mine from RSP concepts, a site sponsor of yfzcentral.com, for $220

About how many db's is the DR.D

Sparks

Sparks. I LOVE mine.

I have a GYTR... DON'T BUY ONE!!! They perform good, but don't last. Sparks is the best for ANY type of riding.

What about yoshys. Are they loud and have great power?

Posted by: drider

yoshi's are ok. well in the end all pipes have gains. But some just have more gains in different power bands. Some pipes look different. So different people like different pipes. HMF, not much gains more sound... Dr.d is not 105 db. more like 100db. Some come with Spark arrestor. some come without. So choose. Pulse Charger seems like there having issues with durability. Breaking where the mounts are.

GYT-R they last. i know someone who has it on there bike for the last 1 1/2 year... OVer 100 hours. on the bike still in use..

Sparks seems like a good choice.

just make sure you choose a pipe with a spark arrestor..

He must definitely retighten his rivets after EVERY ride. Those pipes aren't durable at all. I've had 2 in the past 8 months . Carbon fiber literally dissentegrated into pieces during a trail ride, got a Aluminum one and the rivets wouldn't stay in. I ended up cutting it 4inches shorter b/c it got damaged when it fell apart. I put some locknuts on the inside of the pipe, used EXTREME heat treated locktite and bolted it back down w/ more screws. I riveted the back in together and haven't had anymore problems. It's a great pipe performance wise, but they sucks as far as durability. If they were to weld the part the bolts to the frame to the cannister instead of those brackets and the rubber that gets old and brittle, they'd be alot more durable.

What have your heard of the titanium/carbon Yoshi's? I would like one of those

Posted by: Ride1Rob

From what I've heard... the Yoshi is a good all around pipe. But they use brackets also .

I actually like the bracket design, it puts the tri-oval pipe just far enough to the side to clear the caliper something my CT racing pipe didn't do and it got holes punched in it when I bottomed and the mounts broke on it, that's why I'm looking for a new one, I'd also like of it can be made quiter (insert, endcap, whatever)

Wich brand will give the ultimate sound and performance?

Posted by: jexz

If you want bottom to mid range power and lots of it get a tc full system, though there not cheap or quit there powerful and look awesome i run em on my 250x and my yfz
