Doe anyone elses steering stem seem to hold water, just from washing for example. I had enough in mine that the vent tube was down to it. Ive got one of those little breather caps on the way so thats not really going to be an issue anymore. But I still dont want water in there, do you think if a small hole was drilled on the side close to the botom it would cause any problems by making it weaker.

i hate that. when you stand it up nasty water gets all over the bike

just drill a hole at the bottom of your stem, fixed my problem, if you need to, buy a rubber plug for the hole, and just plug it when using the quad, then take it out to drain it when your washing your quad off

Yeah my rubber hose is all rusty looking from the water in there. I prob should drill a little hole to.

my overflow for my coolant was run into it when i got it

same thing with me, we drilled a small hole in the bottom of it

yah their is suspose to be a drain hole at the bottom of the stem but takes little to no mud to clog it up just clean that out and your ready to go it doesnt help that the carter key blocks most of the hole

Crank a couple of wheelies and the problem disappears.....
