ok im trying to do a ram airkinda thing ok heres how its gonna go i will run a large diameter tube from the left side of the air box to my back left fender which is where i will drill a hole so the tube comes through just to give it more air ill still have the air box there will be just more air

You are wasting your time. Take the airbox lid off and be done with it.

im not sure how 300ex air boxes are set up but on my blaster at the end of the air box i put a lip on so it will catch more air and it worked VERY well
