sorry bout the caps..
i believe it means that the battery is loose and it is stuck in gear. you can use the manual shifter too.

it doenst have a manuel shifter and when i cleaned the battery connections they looked like they were on good, but they hauled it off on their trailer the other day any way so its outa my hair, thanks for your help

the es does have manual shift. it is located on the left side of the bike back by your heal. in your tool kit you should have a long lever with a bent in tip with a square drive on it. it connect to the tranny and then you shift forwards or backwards. check it out when you get it back!
