what do you guys think would be faster a 400ex or a rm125 both with aftermarket exhaust? also what would be better for trail riding?

RM would win in a race but the 400 would be a better trail bike and alot easier to take care of

what he said, db's are almost always faster, but quads are more fun and better trail machines

the rm would probly win, my kx125 beat 400ex's when it was almost blown up but that was against a stock 400 and my 125 had a lot of mods i dunno it would be pretty close probly, and actually 125's are a lot of fun in trails i think they're equal as to which one is the most fun on trails but the rm would be faster through the trails probly

2 strokes arnt very much fun on trails. you can't keep those 2 stroke race bikes at low revs, and since its an RM its goin to have a nice powerband and that can get you into trouble pretty fast on the trails. if you want a trail bike get a quad you will be alot happier. 2 strokes are fun on straights and on the track but if your a beginer you definatly dont want a race 2 stroke bike you ll get hurt pretty fast
