Has anyone ever bent a tie rod on their 400ex ?
I noticed this weekend that I must have bent mine the last time I went riding, it broke the tie rod ends, too. Where is the cheapest place to get a replacement, since I'll probably have to buy the whole assembly?

yes, i have bent them twice, both times, clipping trees with the tires at a pretty good pace. they bend pretty easy, but are cheap to replace. the tie rods themselves are less than $5 at www.servicehonda.com. i don't know about the other pieces you need, but servicehonda usually has much better prices than the dealer and they're the same oem parts...

I'll check them out....not sure if I need the tie rod ends or not.
I need to take the old tie rod off tonight and inspect it.
