i got about 2000 to find a frame but idk wat to start with, i want a crf hybrid but dont know wat frame to use ne help would be nice, o and 2000 is for a rollin chassis

If you can ONLY spend 2 grand on the complete rolling chassis go witha 400ex. You should be able to pick up one for that price. Theres a full flow of aftermarket parts for fixing anything. May even find one with a blown motor for that, with a few bolt on goodies. I don't see why you couldn't find one for that price floating around some place. What engine are you planning on? That could change this too

i plan on using a crf450, or yx426 will the crf fit in a 400ex?

Yes the 400ex will accept the CRF or the YZF. You can even buy engine mount kits online ( don't ask me where but I've seen them addvertised on ebay )

Call Eastcoast ATV I know they do the conversions. They may have a kit you can buy and weld in your self.
