I was riding the new yfz the other day.,. and after a 90+ degree day.. amd riding the balls off the quad, no fan.. TeMp regulatored? trouble shooting help?

mine did the same thing more than likely it wont come on for u unless u run it really really really hard...i had my cam modded and now it kicks on every time i trail ride.

If you let it sit and idle long enough it should come on. We have an esr temp gauge and ours will come on at 210 and then go back off at around 205. Now remember that is sitting with no air flow thru the radiator, thats not something I recomend doing a lot of but you will find out if the fan is working.

If you are worried about the fan itself you can check it by connecting it directly to the battery and make sure it comes on. The instructions for doing it are on page 8-41 in the service manual.

I had mine come on once , and it was like 100 degrees outside with about an 1 1/2 of hard riding ... other than that , it's never come on .

when my friend got his we rode in about 100 degrees and it came on alot. i dunno......
