Hey i just ordered a sparks x-4 exhaust with a quadworks power kit today. Will it be really noticable change? and would it be bad if i ran no lid on my air box with a k&n air filter? thx

What bike is this going on?

doesnt matter what kind of bike it is, a sparks will wake it up. and if you run no lid with the k&n, make sure you have an outerwears on there. with no lid and the pipe with proper jetting you should get alot more throttle response with some nice power gains

Ill get some pic when i put on the new parts so it doesnt look stock lol

The sparks makes a HUGE difference with the 300 compared to stock. If you run without a lid I'd recommend an outerware for your K&N.

does the sparks exhaust come with a header gasket and does it come with mounts for the heat guard? thx

Unfortunately no. I had to buy an OEM header gasket. The sparks has no mounts for a heat sheild at all. I've seen where someone used a 450r stock heat sheild which is what I am planning to do. The header gets really hot especially in the summer. I've roasted a couple pair of pants on mine.

The Sparks is one of the best pipes for the 300, but it does not coem with the heat sheild mounts. I have burnt my leg a few times from riding in shorts. When I go on long rides I wear jeans so the pipe wont melt them like it does to riding pants.
