I'm 17, riding a 250R. I'd like to get into racing. The problem is, I don't have a clue how or what I have to do, when the seasons are, ect. ect. Can anyone help?

what kind of racing u wanna get into, id say mx since u got a 250r. and generally they race in the summer where i live, cuz of the snow and cold. go to atvaonline.com

Thanks guys, specially you 450, when I saw you on the last post list you'd just be blowing stuff...

Yeah I was looking at MX specifically, but harescrambles or XC or something is fine.

It looks like all I have to do is sign up online, then what happens? Do I get some sort of pass or number then I'm just allowed to show up and race? I wouldn't think it would be that simple...

you can sign up online and get ur atva card, but you would have to go to the track to get your district card, you can also get your atva card at the track, if they r sactioned. for my first race i went to the track it was a district four track and was atva sactioned, i bought my atva card and my district card there. they both last for a year, and have to be renewed when the time is up. its that simple.

I looked at the msws.org, they have KC and TN races, I need some rases in Indiana and Illinois. Anybody have anything?
