Ok im ordering new Tag X-5 handlebars and i also want a LSR parking brake block off plate...but i heard if you get that your clutch perch is all loose and stuff...and i dont want that...so im gonna need a new clutch perch too ...which one should i get. i also see alot of dirtbike perchs'es...will those work?

also do the Tag X-5 bars just mount right up to the stock steering stem...and use the stock bar clamp..thanks

You can use the clutch perch off of any dirtbike. I had RTC levers on my 400ex but ended up switching to the CR style. Tag handlebars will fit the stock clamps as long as they are the 7/8's inch bars.

The RTC perches and levers are CR250 style, at least mine is. Another good one to look into is the Sunline CR250 style perch. Right now I'm considering taking my RTC stuff off and looking into a set of ASV unbreakables. I'm just not sure yet if it's worth the money.

But yeah, basically and style dirtbike perch will work, but the most popular is of course, the CR style.

alright thanks everyone...im gettin the Tag X-5 double high CR bend...how should i like them...good quality?...im looking for a high bar with not that much pull back,,so im guessin this will be a good bar for me

also...if i get the MSR Dominator clutch bracket for the CR125 what levers will i have to use?...also i am also gettin a hood so i will be taking off the lights...so i wont need the normal starter thingie...so i want one of those dirtbike killswitches as my starter...what one should i get....and how do you put them on...do they just plug into the factory wires or what..thanks

P.S. i just put a set of new grips on my stock bars...is there anyway i can get those off and not have to buy a new pair...thanks

yeahy i just started lookin into the ASV levers and i like them alot...and will prolly get the ASV clutch perch and lever...and then just a brake lever...so they match...anyone else have an answer for the killswitch and grips question

I have a dirtbike kill switch on my quad for the starter. works mint. I think it is off a honda cr. but dont know. I will be going back into the scary wiring harness soon to hook up my teather. I will be shure to write doun which wires are hooked to what if you want.

I had to mount a switch up by the key for my lights. bc I still wanted to use them and the stock light switch was history.

I believe the KX and YZ kill switches have two wires, just like your starter button.
