what does it do?? I'm sure the same says it all but what do you gain from putting one of these on?

You dont gain anything.. it just gets rid of the crappy parking brake that no one uses..you would be better off to get a new clutch perch and lever while your at it

You can get a new clutch lever n perch n lose big @ss stock one

The brake pads will last longer

You lose the useless parking brake that doesnt work

The caliper wont screw up as easy

It will make it look alot better and may save back brakes a little.

The break block off will elimate any drag that the parking break may cause. I would recomend that you get the block off because you do not want any dirt or water getting in there. You can find them cheap on ebay.
