I was thinking about getting a new quad sometime and was wondering what would be a good choice , I have narrowed it down to three either a trx250r , 400ex, or a ltz400 i want something that is reliable and fast, what do you guys think?

It really depends on what kind of riding you are gonna do. A 250r is great for old fire roads and , well any open area for all that matters, but 2 strokes are not that reliable in the woods. I loved my 400ex, but they tend to get hot in the warm summer days, I would say go for the LTZ, I love my KFX ( same bike) Very quick for a 400 and very reliable.

between the z and the ex...the z can totally dominate it it every aspect. if performance for racing is what your after go wtih the z

i have a z440 and i love it. If i was you, i would first go check both out at a dealer and if you where to get a 400ex, make sure it was a 04 cuase i think 05 ex's s u c k. but thats my opinion. And also see if you can try them both out.
