nerf bar mounts???

Forgive me for the stupid question, but can someone tell me how I would mount a set of pro-peg nerf bars to tthese mounts that were welded to the front of my frame?

Do I just cut off the male end of the one nerf bar so that it will slide up over the post? This seems to be the only solution.


Here is a picture of the front mount posts that have been welded to my frame so you can see what Im talking about.

Just wanted to make sure before I purchased a set of nerf bars.
