do you know what burning oil smells like? does it smell like that?
Jeremy cause im kinda sure it might be oil. or running to lean

I keep runnin low on oil...i have to fill it up all the time...wats this mean?
Posted by: blastereatin250
you're probably burnig oil if you have to keep adding.
Posted by: 99_300ex
ya you defentally got a lil bit of a problem on ur hands id say get new piston and rings prolly but thats just my 2 cents.

How long ago did you put that cam and bore in. I'd tear down the engine change the rings and gaskets, get a torque wrench and torque the bolts down. No matter how good of a mechanic you are, you can still make mistakes. If my 4-wheeler was burning oil, i'd fix as soon as possible

the wiseco piston and rings have about 8 months on it...the bore about 2 years.....the cam about a year and a half...

this isnt a continuis smoking its just every once in a while ......not a lot either just enought to barely see it....

you dont possibly have to much oil in it do you? if it isent this then idk what else to think of.

Posted by: dirt-king

man this one guy that at little sahara that i was hanging out with had bore and all that **** , and it was smokiing out the head and exhaust, Blueish grey , and its oil, he didnt have one side tight enough which eventually cracked the case. so it might be your not tighting it right or u fried a ring
