I just installed a JE 13:1 piston and was curious if anyone else with this piston did not have to gap the rings. They we in spec in accordance with the sheet provided.

I guess I am just nervous since it was my first time opening her up.

Mine were right also, no filing required.

I had to lightly grind my second compression ring but not by much, no need to worry
