I have a 2003 trx90 and I need a little more power as my son is getting a bit big for it but not quite ready for a big atv. He does not race or anything. Just looking for some reasonabe upgrades to tide him over. Or should I save my money and wait?? Thanks!!!

have you removed the 4th gear speed limiter?
you can run an aftermarket air filter

I have a used big gun pipe for a trx 90. Good shape $125.00
Add pipe and take the air box cover off. Major difference.

simply go with a thinner head gasket, raises comp. ratio. also
install 5degree advance timing key.what type of riding do you do?
tight trails and woods riding, put a 52 sprocket on the back for
more grunt.

We have the head gaskets as well as a bunch of other fairly inexpensive mods for the TRX 90. The 5 degee key is an option. Its not my first choice however. I have found that a performance CDI box works ALOT better and really isnt much more money. It is also easier to install.

have u built many 90's for woods racing or is it mostly mx?

Most of the TRX90s we build are for MX. There would be no problem in changing the build to make an XC engine.
