ok, heres the deal; for my project 250r, i am using an 86 frame, 89 engine botton end, and 88-89 swinger(swinger bolt area goes all the way through) i am wondering how it would be possible to be able to bolt the lower rear engine bolt to the frame, seeing as though i can't bolt it to the special 86 swingarm engine mounting bracket. has anybody else done this with any success, and if so how? i am guessing that a special bracket would need to be machined?
Thanks,
-Ryan

Dont understand, the 88-89 has the full length swingarm joint not the 86-87

I would suggest you get teh 86-87 swinger....
ebay should have a couple.

i meant the 88-89, i just edited it. i don't want a 86 swinger, b/c it is too long to flattrack if i want to flattrack the quad. also, i don't have the money for an aftermarket swinger, so i'm looking for opinions.
thanks,
-Ryan

Weld a couple mounts to the bottom of the frame right in front of where the linkage bolts up. or fabricate a crossmember to go across the back of the frame like on the 88/89's it's pritty simple as long as you know how to weld, even if you don't a good welder wouldn't have any problems doing that. trx250rjapan has some pictures of his onld frame that had the mounts put on the lower part of the frame I think.
