what one do u guys think would be faster stock. with same skilled riders on them i have already made a thread like this only raptors vs preds and i think u guys agree with me when i say raptors are the dominate species of fourwheelers! but i wanna kno wat fourwheerl u thnk is faster the yfz or the rappy????

raptor on top end but where are they riding on a track yfz all the way but dunes and trails raptor

I raced a piped/jetted raptor when my 450r was stock and i won very easily (about 2-3 lenghts) but the race was only long enough for me to be in 5th for about 5 seconds , the raptor would eventually catch up thouugh if we had a longer race , but considering the yfz is a little faster than the 450r stock , it would easily win , ofcourse all of this is based upon the riders having the same skill and been around the same weight.

I haven't been beat by a 450R or YFZ yet that didn't have paddles. Without them, I own them, long or short run.........................and mine is just piped/jetted

i think the r is like .5 mph faster on top end but witha few mods nothing can touch a yfz and with even more mods the banshee is unstoppable

Its called the "if you have to ask then you arent able to handle it".

Actually I'd guess it would be the turbo busa engined drag raptor since thats a production piece I think. Otherwise look to w-tec.

YFZ with out question will beat the Raptor out of the Hole, but the Raptor will catch up and pass it on top end.

I have both, geared identically, and the YFZ is faster then the Raptor. When drag racing other bikes, If I can't beat them with the Raptor, I get on my wifes YFZ and usually have success. (The bikes both have open air systems and exhaust, rejetted, but no motor work). If my wife and I race, she will SMOKE me on her YFZ, although she weighs approx 80 lbs less then me.

I have both, the raptor has a hair more top end. But from short points from A to B the yfz is allot quicker. In about any riding situation the yfz is allot quicker.

The gears are allot closer on the yfz,

the kid i bought my rappy from beat a couple of yfz's and a couple 450r's....hes a light weight though, im a bit heavier than him but i have never raced either so idk where i stand i just know he beat 1 or 2 of both keep in mind me raptor has totally stock motor/exhaust

The yfz is definately faster through the gears but eventually the raptor might catch up. Now for your phrase about nothing touching the yfz that is a good laugh. Should we look at the pro point standing!haha
