I have a 01 raptor that decided it dosen't want to start. Getiing a loud buzzing noise coming from the starter relay. I think it might be shot but has anyone else had this problem and is ther a cheap fix besides replacing the relay.

that would be your one way or your starter clutch...its 400$ with stock parts and instalation and if you wanna do it your self and go aftermarket its 350$ for aftermarket parts

I t happens when you try to start it there is no power getting to the starter clutch. It just buzzs and that s it.

Found out the battery did have enough to engage the starter solenoid. New battery runs fine now.

o dude...mine did the same thign replaced the battery worked great...but wait a week or 2 and you will be asking how to change your start clutch
