Are all 250r seat pans the same. I know the atc ones are differnt than the trx ones. But did they change the seat pan at all, I know they made alot of little differences.

88-89 are different from 86-87. 88-89 had an integrated front hold down, requiring holes in the fender for them to pass through and the later years also used a different latch assembly.

Sow will an 86 wok on an 89 as long as it has the right plastics?

You will have a problem with the rear latch assembly. The front will work fine on an 88-89, if you have the 86-87 bolt-on front hold down. You can get creative and fab something for the rear latch.

Just use an aftermarket rear latch and you will not have any problems.

really????????? atc 250r seats on trx's, I have both and they won't interchange, nor will the seat latch. you might be confused as they put atc seat covers on the seat foam(they are a close fit)
