RUNNING AN 89 MODEL AND WANT +2 INCH AT FRONT BUT DO I STILL WANT THE +1 FORWARD MOD AS WELL OR WILL THAT NOT DO MY FRAME ANY FAVOURS AS I ALREADY HAVE THE LATE GEOMETRY ???

ALSO I'M NOT RACING IT , WAS LOOKING AT THE ASR ARMS , I KNOW HEAVY , I HAVE OPTION OF 2ND HAND LAEGER FOR BIT MORE MONEY BUT I CANT SEE THE DIFFERNCE ?? IS IT THE WEIGHT OF THE THINGS OR WHAT , THE ASR'S SEEM TO HAVE ALL HEIM'S OR ENTRY MODEL WITH BUSHINGS INNER , THE LAEGER JUST BUSHINGS AND NORMAL BALL JOINTS ???

For the 89 Frame you will want the +2 A-arms, People buy the +2 +1 A-arms for the 86-87 geometry to achieve the 88-89 geometry. As far as the brand of A-arms go it all depends on what you are doing, If you are not doing racing or heavy MX on it ASR should be fine. And they have the lifetime warranty so it should be fine.

Oh yeah easy on the CAPS!!!!!!!

asr only seem to do a +2 with bushings , they do a +2+1 with all heims and other makes i have seen only do +2+1 's ..
my point being would the trx handle EVEN BETTER with that extra inch length or is the 89 good enough as is ??

I am also wondering this same thing

When I had my 250R I had the +2+1 arms on it, I had the stock 88 frame which has the same geometry as the 89. The +1 helps the front end to stay down. When coming out of a corner hard you will notice the front end will stick to the ground better.

just my two cents
