neutral light not working

i noticed my neutral light not working and when i shut my bike off it wouldn't start in neutral.
i had to pull in the clutch, any ideas what went ape**** on my bike?

My nuetral light didnt work for awhile either,,, It was just a loose connection below the front fenders.

you might wanna check the green wire coming from your ignition switch. It has a but conector that prolly came loose.

You can check down by your shifter. The wire running down their might be lose i am pretty sure that is your neutral light harness.

My N light only worked about 1/2 the time when I picked the bike up (new).. turned out the connector down on the switch (by the shifter) was loose.. I just squeezed it closed slightly with a pair of pliers and it's worked like a champ ever since....

ever get the urge to just yank somthing off and see what it is? well i yanked off the neutral indicator wire by the shifter and the whole tip broke off , so i just put some alluminum wire on it and ghetto rigged it back into place. works good.
