Just bought a blaster earlier today, and they had a toomey but it was cracked,so they cut half of the silencer off(the mechaninc said it would be better than welding, almost liek drag pipe).Well its WAYYYYYY to loud for my neighborhood. What would be a good silencer?,not too loud.Is the toomey loud?,how about compared to fmf?Any help or a advice would be great thanks!

the toomey is pretty loud, you'd be better going off with the toomey though because the fmf is just as loud imo

wont work; no right side pipe will work with a regular style pipe sclincer

well the toomey is the loudest blaster pipe besies drag pipes or highl ported motors and LRD's but anyways, you need a left bend pipe scilancer, a procircut 404 is quite, and so is the FMF turbine core Q series, i have an LRD pipe and scilancer, and it is the best out there besides maybe a dyno port, but its a right bend pipe so the scilancer will not fit.....

Well I just bought a toomey silencer off of ebay,I will see how loud it is.If it is too loud, then I will trade pipes with my friend,he has an FMF.Thaks Neil

i would not trade for a fmf lol i would sell the toomey on line then maybe buy the FMF lol and still make money off it....

Better yet sell the toomey and buy a PB Phantom or LRD

he said he wnats quiet lol
lol even tho he will loose power he wants the quier lol maybe he should just use a stock scilancer....

I have a stock silencer on it now,and I cant take it anymore.I never heard a toomey yet,so I iwll see how loud it is,I juts know it was loud whne the cut one was on it.Well i'll see how it goes.

Need a little more help lol:
Well, the guy said before I bought it from said "ill be honest with you,its been sitting collecting dust for 2-3 months,so whne you start it,it will be slow, then it will gradually get faster".Well,I never rode it with the "custon toomey drag pipe",I only rode it after I put the stock silencer.Well yesterday,it was so slow that it wouldnt even spin the tires, then as i started warming it up and ridin around the yard a little ,I was able to,then today i did the same thing and now it barely spins in 2nd,so its gettin better SLOWLY.I was thinking it's partly because its been sitting,it has a stock silencer, and its not jetted right.I know this thing runs because the last time he rode it,I was there .Well any help would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks Neil
SORRY FOR THE LONG POST!!

I will never underestimate this thing again!!...Just busted my ***,I wanted to show it to my mom for the first time,so i took off not thinking it would go fast.I flew straigh off the back, now I see why they had a tetherswitch on it.Now alls I have to do is have it jetted right for pump gas.
