my friend is wanting a Raptor, Z400, or a Predator. he wants something that he can jump, has top end yet it can be pulled into a wheelie. mostly he rides it in trails but rides some in fields. which one would be best for him to get?

it sounds like your friend wants a raptor u just described everything a raptor is good at but this is what i think u may think differntly but a raptor will do your friend some good

dont get a crapter, id get the z. i got a kfx400 right now and it kicks a**. i dunno about the predator, ive heard both good n bad things about it

I have a KFX400 and my buddy has a raptor both nice bikes. I bought an LE pred. 500 and I like it so much better than either one. I ride trails and dunes. I would say go and sit on all three and maybe even try and ride them to see which one fits you best.

raptors are awesome how could u even say that about a raptor i mean it is ur guys opinion on what u think about differnt atvs but a raptor is one fine machinery!!! ................................hey they are rite tho you should go and sit on top of all three of them and see which one u feel the best on!! and maybe even ask to test drive them to see which one u like best!!!

hey have u seen u new l.e. pred. 500 is blue!!!! blue man!!! thats freakin sweet! lol i bout flipped when i seen that thing!! but ta tell ya the truth i think i like........well actually i like them all except the silver one! the red orange and blue ones are awesome!

Oh boy now you did it!!! Talk about opening up a can of worms!!!!

As with any quad comparison, it really depends on the riders!

As for top speed, it really depends on the gears that either quad is running.

Lets just say that both quads are fairly close in performance and leave it at that. I know that you will get 10,000 replies that one is better than the other but it REALLY depends on which one fits you better and has what YOU need to make you happy!!

ok lets get technical if the same exact rider were to ride both fourwheelers which one would he get the fastest top speed out of ? which quad is truly faster?

I would advise him to go and sit on each one and compare and do a test ride at the dealerships if possible.

I find that asking online you get a varying degrees of favoritism towards one brand or the other when one throws up quad options like what he is looking at.

The thing to keep in mind is to buy what you want and not what everyone else wants you/tells you to buy. My reccomendation is to take a look at all 3, compare their options, pricing, and their abilities and choose the one that suits his needs the most.

hey i have a predator and my friend has a raptor and i find the predator is better for trail and raptor is better for racing so it depends on how u drive it !!!!

what kind of racing maybe drag racing i owned an 02 raptor and now own an 05 le pred and the pred handles hands down better than the raptor i had wheel spacers pipe kn razr tires on the raptor and still didnt handle as good i even think my new pred would win in a drag race

From my experience the pred is faster. I've beat 2 piped raptors with my stock 03 pred. One had an edelbrock carb with the lte duals and the other had a full yoshi system. Those are the only two ive raced, they may have been worse riders or something. They sounded like they were jetted ok, no cutting out or anything.
