I hadn't heard what days it was going to be on...next weekend, damn. Not sure if Brandon and I will make it this year, but we'll see. We had talked about going down the weekend after but I think we'll TRY for next weekend.

I was there this past weekend for my first time and man was it awesome. I wish I was going back this weekend for sand jam but don't think I will make it due to 13 hour drive from baton rouge, la.

temps in the upper 90's - night riding is the only way to go. It's just too hot and I'm sure it's not good to run a quad hard in upper 90 degree temps for very long. too bad, LS is a fun place to be.

The weekend was great. Not alot of people though. Looked like a regular weekend by the turnout. 15" of rain, and a tornado Friday before must have slowed people down.

HOT!! If you have a camper with ac, or atleast somewhere to get out of the heat during the day, it wouldn't be bad. There's usually not that many people down there when it gets really hot. Just ride early morning, evenings, and dark.
