what will happen if the oil is over the full mark? Will it do any damage?

if there is too much presure you can blow a valve seal....

I overfilled mine once and a few things happened. Oil leaked from somewhere up top...just a little. It runs crappy in that it puffs out a little smoke and feels like it bogs alot. After riding for a half hour or so...i drained it down to where it was supposed to be and all the problems were solved. DONT OVERFILL THE OIL...especially since it is so easy to drain a little out.
