I race MX and i want my motor to last so im just using stock CDI. I mean Revving that high cant be good for the motor. I dont know though

Making a motor last???
Do not know much about that.

But why would so many companies produce a little black box that extends the rev range of a motor "out" 1000 RPM's.
For a basic that is what they do. Instead of 10,000 RPM's it goes to 11,000 RPM's or something like that!

Just because it rev's out more doesn't mean you always run the risk of blowing it up. Mine runs on the aft. box all of the time and I've never had a problem with it and I run it like a 2 stroke.

Rev boxes help alot. The stock unit is pretty restrictive. Get a GT Thunder or TC racing CDI unit and call it a day....
