what place around Illinois has the best sand dunes

Posted by: 440

flat river aint dunes, but its sand

I havent been there yet, but from what Ive heard the badlands isnt really sand. Its more of a course pea gravel.
Plan and simple is you live in IL you dont get to ride in sand

go to glamis for a week!!!!!!!!

Posted by: Warrioreater400ex

hahah glamis sounds awesome.

me and one of my best friends (who rides a 400ex) have decided on a few things. we are goin to St joes and LBL this summer. before we graduate in 2004 we are going to go to Hatfield/McCoy and Coal Creek Mining Facility. and before we die or get to old to ride (whichever comes first ), we are gonna go west and hit Little Sahara and Glamis..... sounds like a pretty good riding lineup to me!:devil

I hear there are some decent sand dunes near Canton, MO. I've not been there, but it's supposed to be pretty good.

Canton is right near the border of Illinois/Missouri, about 30 minutes from Quincy, IL and about 2 hours from Springfield, IL
