my buddy still workin on his cordova

Posted by: EXer #33

just some air

Posted by: EXer #33

last one... the quality aint that good tho sorry

Posted by: 660r_freestyler

ok well you can oviously clear it...so go out n scoot it back another 15 feet and bring back pics of your friends extended coradova..thats the only reason he cant do it is not enough air time

Posted by: thomps6s

Change the settings on your digital camera to manual and adjust it so the shutter speed is at 1/1000. That will give you the fastest shutter time and your pics should come out 100x more clear. If it is set on manual it will try to auto focus, adjust to the light...etc and make the delay longer.

Posted by: EXer #33

well its not my camera so i dont know what to do with it or how to do it so..

last night we moved it back about 6-7 feet but the camera wasnt working so we didnt get any pics last night.

Same, I want to buld a ramp of my own. Did you weld it together or bolt it? What materials did you use?

Thanks.

Posted by: EXer #33

well.... we kinda did it in bits and pieces puttin it together but all in all it pry took us about maybe 2 days if u added all the hours together.

we bought it half built allready some one had used it as a bicycle kicker and we cut it down about 3 ft. we used 5 1/4in iron slabs to reinforce the frame which we welded on and there after we welded on 1/4in mesh with just some spot welds. which a few have broken but we have fixed them allready. all the fixing up costed $340. hope that helps

340 for a homemade kicker isnt bad at all, would you mind sharing some dimensions if possible?

Posted by: raptor146

It's 5'2" tall. The whole thing is 15'. The curved part is 12'. And it's 6 feet wide. We just kind of guessed on all the dimensions and it turned out alright. If you wanted to start from scratch and build one it would pry cost 600-700 bucks. Heres a pic of what the bicycle ramp looked like.

Posted by: Robin Hood

Not bad, my dad owns a construction biz, and we have all the piping and tubing for the base, I know I can get my friend over and help me weld it up too. Ill go draw some figures up on C.A.D. in school Monday. Thanks.

Posted by: sampleez

that's some NICE riding gear on the pic of the no footer j/p i'm bad about not wearing my gear too, when it's really hot

nice pics!!!

Posted by: EXer #33

i was wearin my helmet goggles gloves and riding shorts

plus it was like 90 degrees and humid as hell too.

Posted by: DDOGQUADRIDER

ur ramp needs to be bigger is to short. and make the gap about 45ft. to start off.

Posted by: tater_kamik

i understand the lack of gear, gotta hate the heat! sometimes i think its more dangerous than wrecking!!!

Posted by: raptor146

Yeah the next time we make a ramp we need to make it longer and smoother so its easier to hit bigger gaps. It throws your pretty high though.

Posted by: Honda MaNiAc 01

Thats sweet man! I want a kicker so bad! i almost bought a skateboarding quarter pipe out of the paper to use it as a kicker lol

Posted by: EXer #33

u'd pry get some "pop" out of that

Posted by: QuadSquad#13
