im getting a new atv in a few days...i cant decide whcih to get. which bike do you all think is better..a kfx400 or a 400ex?

i love hondas but the z/kfx/dvx power is so much better then the 400ex and plus they got piggy back shocks and better geometry then the 400ex. go with the z/kfx/dvx

if you are going to buy a honda get the "R"....
But i had a Z befor I got my 450r and i loved it....
get the Z.

400ex's are a little more reliable but thats only because their motor is such low tech and simple not much can go wrong. The z is very reliable however with just a few minor problems buts they have had fewer problems than the 450r and yfz450.

They are both excellent machines but I am a honda man so I would get the 400ex because they are bullet proof!

my dealer said there will be a 450 z by the end of the summer so i would wait and go with that and then tell me if its better than the 450r so i know what to buy next season

KFX has more power than ex but is more prone to breakage. Honda is more reliable but also slower so rather have power vs. reliable..

The 450r is a honda of course it's going to be better than a suzuki. Most likely suzuki and kawasaki are working on it together so maybe they might be able to put something together worth buying but I won't hold my breath!

personally i like my kfx better then my cousins ex. i think it rides smoother.
EX-a bit slower, a bit less power, air cooling, and lacks reverse on 04 models and previous.
KFX-bit faster, bit more power, sits higher, liquid cooling, has reverse, IMO somewhat smoother ride.
You decide?!?
But they are both great overall bikes, thats for sure.

I ride an '04 ex and I love it but I bet the new Suzuki 450 is gonna be one hell of a nice quad.

any one with a 400ex should get insurance burn it and get a z 400 or kfx caint go wrong with them will beat a 400 ex any day of the week
