I smell some sandbaggers!

Posted by: dirtmomma

heeheehee here we go again LMAO

We were gonna run but decided instead of DJ running stock/production we will wait till next year when he turns 16 to run whatever

GOOD LUCK to all who is running take some pics!!!!!!!!

Posted by: atvtrailrider

This is an AMA event and you have to be 16 correct?

Posted by: dirtmomma

YES this is an AMA event & unfortunetly you DO hae to be 16 to ride anything bigger than a 200cc production quad!!! That's why we aren't taking our son DJ, his blaster is too modded

Posted by: baseballplaya23

i wonder how many ppl are gonna be there. is it like for the whole west coast or just a mainly washington thing?

Posted by: baseballplaya23

hey atvtrailrider what kinda racing do you normally do?

Posted by: metalmellinium

Does anyone know what time the race starts on friday? And also, is there anywhere to camp around the track? Thanks

Posted by: dirtmomma

www.MSHMC.org

Posted by: baseballplaya23

that doesnt really help about camping there DM. lol can anyone else help us out?

Posted by: daddio

Elma and Castle Rock have huge parking lots that are level, so you can camp. I've never noticed "hook-ups" though, so you'll have to rough it.

Posted by: baseballplaya23

So what days are they racing, not practicing

Posted by: metalmellinium

Anyone know how they measure the width of the front end at nationals? Like is it the edge of the tire? Or the edge of the tread? Thanks

Posted by: ThumPIN_450R

at the mx nationals it's at the edge of the tire they will sit down a 50' wide spreader bar with kick ups on the end and if you make it through you can race and if you don't you go back to the pits and figure a way to get through it

Posted by: baseballplaya23

do you have to sit on the quad or can you push it thru?

Posted by: metalmellinium

Anyone know i am leaving tonight and need to switch a arms if its to wide

Posted by: ThumPIN_450R

we had to be sitting on the machine and ride it through some guys that were too wide had a freind pick up the front end while they sat as far back on the bike as they could then the front suspension would stretch out and while it was going up it would get a little narrower to make it through I'm not sure how much sag you run in flat track but that may help if you're close

i had to do something like that to pass tech at the glen helen MX national last year.... not fun.
