Posted by: 300extreme#8
i'll have to tell u throw email or messenger,u gotta tell me where ur at what what u need to know,b,c i'll tell u how to get better step by step, and it's hard to do just explainin it on here, plus i don't like to give out my secrets just like this, but let me know and i'll tell u
Posted by: trxkruzoffman
what gear do you guys hit that jump in????
Posted by: gademito
u know, a real freestyle dude wouldnt mind to tell his "secrets" so the real secret is just go and do it, there's not a step by step on how to do a cordova, u just need the balls to do it,

sweet pics! keep it up.

Hey how tall is that ramp, actually could you send me the demensions of that ramp? My friend has a wooden kicker that is 4ft and it's pretty cool but it'll rot in a year or two and we'll be looking to build another. You guys are gettin good.

The timing is a little off on my cordova. If I get another day out there I think I will be able to get them down.

ok for one thing,i don't want to put it on here and everyone read it thinkin they might go try it and get hurt, thats y i said i would help teh one tring it,and yes it can be told step by step,i do them i know how it's done,i can look at someone tring them and tell them what they r doin wrong and y it doesn't look like it should, and what they r doin for it to not bend right, and it is nothinb to do with balls,it's one of the easiest tricks once u do it, freestyle is not all about balls,it's more bout timing and practice, maybe if u knew alil more u wouldn't be so ignorant.so since u say it so easily lets see ur pics of ur cordovas. heres my cordovahttp://www.imagestation.com/picture/sraid163/p8c7b462fcbb1020fa9e5a4705529e918/f493dda8.jpg
Posted by: raptor146
Yeah he looked at my pics and told me what i was doing wrong right away. Now I just need a little more practice with what he told me to do and I should have them.

hey, speaking of cordova's, if you would tilt your head back, and look backwards, while arching your back more, your cordova would look better. and i think freestyle is skill, practice and balls, i know for a fact, cause i got down this cordova in 2 days

Id say caleb has his cordovas down much better than me, especially in this picture, but ive been working on them a little lately. i used to have them down good as hell, but i kinda faded off on throwing my head back as much, heres a pic of one of my less good looking ones, but not too bad i dont guess, idk. Kinda hard for us taller riders to do cordovas

Do you guys close your eyes when you throw your head back? For some reason I always close my eyes.

nah, dont close your eyes, that keeps you from knowing how far back your head is, youll know when your looking far enough back when you can see the ramp you just left.
Posted by: QuadSquad#13
yeh, caleb and steve kick arse, but you guys got alot bigger ramps than we do now.
Posted by: 300extreme#8
Hey zach ur still jumpin up to teh bars, now that i got more experianced guys on here mayeb they can help me out explainin this trick... this trick for one u do not want to jump up to teh bars, look at all 3 of our heads and upperbodies compared to urs, ur still jumpin to the bars, ,if u feel ur goin to jump just lean back and straighten ur arms out and don't bend them,,don't jump, bring ur knees up and hook the bars and through ur head at teh same time ur goin to kick ur knees over the bars and arch ur back, and total reverse bring in back,,bring ur head back and tuck ur knees back, just rmember, don't jump to teh bars, and through ur knee forward and not straight up.. i did my cordova off a 30ft double it's not teh jump,if u half a half *** jump u can pull off more than u think,it's all in ur mind and the timing must be right

How tall is your ramp?
Posted by: QuadR8cer12
the best thing I can think of to help an arch of your back with the cordova is to thrust your hips forward ( kinda like humping the air lol) and pull yourself to arch your back with your arms.
best pic I have of my cordova..

Freestyle can be told in a somewhat of a step by step process... I had caleb bustin out most of his tricks in a day and I would tell him lil step by step things to do to improve his trick extensions... but it just takes pure talent and one crazy mofo that caleb is! Caleb is the most acrobatic (sp?) person that I know.. this helps out a GREAT deal to how well he does his big tricks.

Great pics, now all I gotta do is get off my lazy *** and go weld a ramp together...
