For everyone who didn't make it to Kahoka you sure missed out. Every quad that was on the start line made it to the finish. That's awesome just in itself.

Thanks for the photos and the update! Do you know how many were in thr IRONMAN class? I will be running the IRONMAN class in the 6 hr PA & OH races and the 12 hour one too!
How many teams total were racing? Looks like you all had some good weather.
Thanks again!

There were 3 people that Ironman'd it. The 3rd peopson about died from tring to hard at the start. After taking a break, he came back an was running at the end of the 6 hrs. The Miller team did a very steady race. At the start he walked to the quad after the gun went off. The 3rd rider(team) was running stron the full 6 hr. He did 26 laps, with he winning team doing 34 and 2nd place 32 laps.
Mike laid out a very good course for this event. Most of it was new ground that had GRASS, not dirt. There was maybe only about 200 yd of the same course from the MHSC race in April.

I was the 3rd ironman and I got 29 laps, I didn't slow down until about the last 2 laps. Was a fun and fast coarse

You are running the 12 hours Ironman? Holy cow! I was thinking about it but after the 6th hour I was tired. If anyone wants to team up I am strong and willing to do the 12 hours.

Thanks to Mike and all the crew and to Tom that put this great race on. The score keepers did a great job with no mistakes. Wish we could of made this the biggest race of Missouri but we had alot of fun and had great luck with all of our teams. They also say thanks for putting this on and hope to have another one next year.......also monica for the pics. We are so proud of our little jr team. They stuck right in there to show the big guys they could also keep up. Thanks to those that looked out for them. Congradulations on the other youth team. You did a great job. This is our future pro team. And Pat for taking the video that we all enjoy watching. mommab

Thanks for taking the time to post your pics Monica and thanks to everyone who made the race happen. That was the most fun I've ever had racing my quad. BTW I don't think they will be having an Ironman class at the 12 hour. So who's headin' to wisconsin in a few weeks?
Posted by: dirtriderex
I was thinking about skipping the Iowa race and headin to the 6 hours of wisconsin. But I think I want a team, If anyone is intrested. Hard call. I wonder how the turnout will be there.

I bet the turn out is pretty good! I know there are a ton of MX racers from some Greatlakes quad series who are going to have teams and try it
Im going and skipping the Iowa race for sure.
The facility is awesome plenty of room to camp. Awesome MX Course its 1.5 miles long all nice jumps NO do or die jumps. There is some Doubles and a triple I think they are easy tho. Also a 70ft table top. Nice woods and hills. Should be a great race, Trails will get rough~!!
I think we are going to run the Pro class, maybe A have not decided yet

Awsome pics and coverage! Congrats to ALL the riders! Especially Kim and Taylor... way to show those boys how it's done!
For the youth class, I guess you don't have to be 16 to ride a 300/400ex? Is that right? How many people were in that class this race? May have to try this stuff out. lol.
