Do you need 2 run race gas with 11:1 compression or can you run half 93 and half race gas?

Most people say you can run straight 92/93 octane with 11:1 compression. I suppose it will depend on how accurate the 11:1 number really is.

I'm really not going for top speed. I am planning 2 get a 416 kit for more mid range power, But i do not want spark knock in the engine.

could u run pump with 12:1

yes you are correct, 11:1 you use 93 octane once above that you have to run race gas, so 12:1 you would have to run the race gas or else you would get detonation/spark knock, which is preignition of the gas from the heat and compression almost like a diesle engine
