I hate to put a post where it doesn't go but need the info. Can anyone give me the straight scoop on Christmas Valley Oregon? I've heard and read all sorts of good bad and ugly stories. Is it worth a 3 hour trip for the week-end? Paddles/No paddles? Dust bowl or no?

they have some information about christmas valley. The dunes are pretty small compared to the ones at the oregon coast. I went a couple of years ago during thanksgiving it was so cold 18 degress with 20 mile hour winds. There was snow on the dunes. My dad road his 250r out there w/out paddles and it did just find.
