well if you are going to buy a brand new bike you might as well go with a 450 especially if you are going to race. between yamaha and honda its all in what you like. but if you are going to get a banshee you are probably going to need a good amount of money to make it "Race ready" parts for any quad are not cheap especially when it comes to motor work there is two of everything on a banshee and it is alot of money.

if ur 13 i dont recommend any of those quads unless u have a ton of experience, are huge, or dont mind ur quad kicking the chit outta u. i am 15 but only 5' 6" and my quad kicks my *****. but do what u want.

He's right. Im 14 and I ride a Raptor 720 and a Grizzly 686. But Ive been riding the older grizzly since i was 6. Going from a 250ex to a banshee is a huge jump. But I'm not saying your nota good rider. Its all in your riding skills.

I was 13 when I got my banshee and it dident beat the **** out of me. T5's work better with porting than SST's. With $1,000 you can make a banshee walk a yfz, but it will not handle near as well. So if you plan on mx'ing go with the yfz450.

but did u race it
Posted by: future 450?
if u can actually beat the piss out of ure cr i say get a banshee

Dude banshees are great, but lets look at the work that you would have to do over time on it. The 2 stroke is wild on your pockets, 1 grand isnt really enought to do what you want. My vote is to get one of the 450s. I hade a Banshee and switched to the TRX450r and there was a big differance. But youre the one with the bread so do what you want but the write choice.
