Who here thinks i am nuts for wantin to trade my banshee for a 400ex???
i love my banshee...if im in the sand, but i rode a buddies 400ex the other day when we were out at some trails, and the 400 is just so much easier to ride in that stuff...
I dont know....i just cant make up my mind...
Any Input??

ive ridden both.. and in my opinion i like the 400ex better. sure the banshee is better dragging and stuff.. but in trails the 400 should be better. long run the 400ex should show u less maintenance

u know what RiderTRX400ex im really happy that u asked that cuz my buddy just got a banshee and i was really tempted to get one cuz of the power. But hey i dont go to the dunes enough ya know.i mean if ur gonna ride alot of trails i wouold go with the 400ex

Banshee is a great drag bike because thats all it was meant for. It can't handle very well. Ever seen a Banshee and a 400EX on a MX track? 400EX is a far better all around bike that has plenty of power and handles very well. If all you do is drag then Banshee is great. But for anything else a 400EX is far better.

Look at the starting lines of the GNCC Races. you really don't see many banshees lining up...

Ya....I'm just a little bummed out on the power of a 400 compared to a Shee.... oh well...thats what strokers are for i guess

my friend just bought a banshee and i was amazed by the power in the pits, you really gotta keep it in the powerband compared to a 400ex which will pull alot harder, but if ur a good rider the banshee is pretty easy to handle, my suggestion is just look around where you live, if you go to sandpits alot, and you have alot of good pits around you stick with the shee, but if ur only in pits part time and u do alotta trail ridin 400ex would suit you more

ya like chris said jut look at your ridin areas and i know a few ppl with banshees that ride the trails and what not. 1 guy i know that has 1 rides the tight woods with his and does just fine and its got a wider axle to it plus he has a good amount of money into the motor.
Its also the fact of do you want reliabilty and fuel efficency something 2 strokes defintly don't have most of the time or do you want have something thats very very fast and needs to be kept in the high revs alot. Its all up to you man they are both very good quads
Just remember when buyin 1 make sure it doesn't stick wideopen when you hit any amount of water or after you wash it i know ppl with banshees either have that problem or got it fixed
