I just put in a new piston and rings in my 400ex. What had happened was i dropped a valve out of the head and got stuck in the piston. Anyway........ I had the head worked with new valves and everything. The valves are adjusted to spec. , the carb. is suckin' air, and the plug is getting fire. The cam is also i time but it just won't start. Anyone have any suggestions????

everything in time? battery fully charged (do you have an aftermarket rev limiter)? do you have spark? new plug? everything grounded properly? gas on/ kill switch off? just double check everything over, its usually the stupid things like that that will have you rippin out your hair.

when i redid mine i tried starting it for like 20 mins and it wouldnt start.it ended up being i didnt put that much gas back in the tank and turned the petcock to on,well i guess it wasnt enough because for the hell of it i put i to reserve and it started right up.
