I read on atv scene that spader was not DQed they just made him qualify even though he was in the top 10. But I dont see his name anywhere so Im going to assume that he was dqed.
ohh and GO NATALIE!!!
Posted by: xander1027

Posted by: suz z400 2003
he was late for signups. The same thing happened to Jason Luburgh last year and he was dqed

P. brown is the man But what really happened to spader????
Posted by: jones5790
Jones is having trouble this weekend because he has not been able to ride much. For those of you who were in Macon , you can recall the crash Jones had in practice. He sprained his throttle thumb pretty bad and everytime he rides it just aggrivates it more. Doctors told Jones untill he can take time off , his thumb will not be able to heal fully. We spent the last week and a half revising and rebuilding his practice track that way he can take some time off from riding and be ready to practice when his thumb feels better. He is tough and a little pain is not going to affect him much. Watch out in moto #2!

I'd say if they want to take he's points. Let them have the points from the race in question.

How did donny Lysinger do?
Posted by: Warnerade
man this realy sucks...i wish i coulda been there today and watched it, it sounded like one hell of a race. They have a step up double wich i cased...broke my left ankle and spranged my right...i ended up sitting in a wheel chair and going home saturday night, when i wrecked in the damn qualifier on the last lap...i was 3rd too...

yes, i do love that section...but something tells me in the future, ill hit the brakes and take the option of not hitting that steup.
i was racing production C in division 1 for the qualifier...in the second drop for prod c with division 3 & 4 someone endoed into that and got hurt realy bad...the very first race of the day, 4-stroke A i think it was..someone got landed on, and then that guy got landed on top of as well...and i think the medics were talling me that they have taken 4-5 people to the hospital form that jump already that day.
Posted by: p@iNn3ck
Still gotta add some things up, but looks like Natalie could go back in the lead with 159, and Tim staying in second with around 151, and Gust in third with 141.
Posted by: Goose19561
Hey p@iNn3ck
How about the rest of the riders in Moto 2?
Posted by: Harvey
will you post yhe overall?

What are C riders doing jumping jumps like that anway?

well, i do agree...its a pretty advanced jump for C-riders...but the guys in front of me where doing it, and i knew if i stayed in my position id be going to the main event...and i figured hell...i better hit it, becuase if i dont...i wouldnt finish as good as i would have liked to in the main. The jump is not too advanced for me, the only reason im racing c-class is becuase my bike is nearly stock. i know...hitting that jump on a nearly stock bike is nuts too....

I agrre 100% if they are going to deduct points or anything else it should be for the race (Budds creek) that it happened at. I dont see why theres a need for suspension and not just probation for a couple races, if they have to do anything. This is getting as bad as supercross I remember the Johnson/Bailey battle at Anahiem in 86 and mutliple Johnson and Ward battles in the mid 80s and nobody fined them, but now the AMA frowns on rubbing look at Windam last year and Lusk a few years back. Rubbing is racing, banging bars is half of what its all about.

Don had some bad luck in the first Moto, He threw a chain and put back on to finish the race. In the second Moto he had a good hole shot coming out in tenth place. He finished 12th in the second moto being passed by Dunk and Jones on the last lap. Overall for the day he finished in 17th.
Posted by: Jeff2269
I wonder if Doug was protested this race for his holeshots. He hasnt been gettin them all year and no he is 2 motos in a row...hmmmm.
What happen to Tim? Terrible starts and he couldnt hang this weekend i guess?
Posted by: Cron
From what I could tell/see Creech had engine problems with his YFZ. When he went around in Moto 1 I thought his engine sounded weird and then I saw him cruising because of something mechanical. He never came out for the 2nd moto.
Is there a rule that you can only ride 1 bike for both motos, or if someone has an engine problem can they go back and get their practice quad for the 2nd moto?
Moto 2 was awesome to watch. Very good racing and intense. I thought Doug may get back in 1st on the 2nd to lsat lap, but Natalie rode awesome and was through those whoops, almost doubling all of them. Great race. I can not wait till next year.

You must ride the bike you qualified on. I think you can change everything but the frame. If he would have ask for help from the other Pros. I'm sure someone would have had what ever he needed.
Posted by: yamablaster24
you have to race with same engine cases and frame.
Posted by: Cron
Creech had his other YFZ there, I do not know why he did not swap parts? Then, when I walked by it may have just been him and a few other people so maybe he figured he would not be able to swap the parts out in time.
The Production Pro Am race was great too. I was on my toes watchign Cody Smith, the way his YFZ was smoking I was waiting for it to take a dump any moment. His YFZ was smoking bad for half the moto!
Did anyone see what happaned to Haavisto on the last lap? I had my back turned in the bleachers watching Natalie and Gust, I turned around and he had crashed on the big sweeping berm with no idea what happaned, the announcer even missed it.
Congrats to Ellis, he ran one hell of a race and held his own. He was not letting Gust and Natalie pull away until the end in Moto 2, he looked really good today.
Posted by: Warnerade
i honestly dont even think creech was there to race...i think he was just there to make an appearance. in practice he was doing wheelies..and he kept cutting the track to skip the whoops...

Are you sure about the engine cases??? I saw a pro swap motors out cause he lost a motor in the 1st moto, but came back in the 2nd with his practice bike's motor. This was earlier in the season.

Great job Ellis!!!

Great racing both days! The 2nd moto was crazy. Glad to see Natalie win, you could tell there was some tension in the pits after that last round. To whoever said they broke this foot on the double double, a friend and I pulled a white Yfz off the track there after a kid came up short, the kid had red riding gear and an almost stock bike. His stem and bars were almost bent flat back against the tank.
After finding a pic of your quad NacsRacer027 i think it was your quad that we pulled off the track, if it was glad to here your ok. Oh and by the way i think you'll need a new stem

yup...that was me alright...i havent even looked at my bike yet, as its still lockd up in my trailer sitting at my buddies house...i just hope to my axle isnt bent. pretty big jump for a stock quad...if you were the guy that first came up to me, that said you knew brandon jones and recognized me from milan...thanks for being the first one there. Did my yfz flip over or did my stem bend from the impact..i dont remember it flipped over
Posted by: A4StrokeGuy
Well heres what i saw happen. I turned and looked and saw a quad sitting there with no rider and a rider on the ground. We sat there for a bit and the rider got off the track but the bike stayed there. Some kid came running by and asked for a hand to get the bike off the track. I never talked to you, we just went up and pulled the bike off the track. All i got to say is i have a x-ray of my wrist after i hit that jump for the first time last year, and it wasn't a pretty x-ray.
Posted by: Warnerade
is your last name batson? and i didnt realy get off the track..to be honest, it hurt to move...i was in so much pain it hurt to move my arms up to try and crawl up the berm...maybe i just rolled over enough for you to see. I looked at my x-ray..compared both of my ankles and i honestly can not see where its broken at.
Posted by: Quadude32
nacsracer i seen your tumble i was sitting up on the hill and seen you flip. That jump ate alot of Riders sat. As far as the Racing went Awsome 2 Days....Man is this sport getting Huge or what,There wasnt that many peps there last yr on sunday
Outerware's thanks for the free Pizza
Posted by: Warnerade
ya...i think when i was sitting on top of the hill getting splints on my ankles, i hear on the radio "we got another one down at the double double", so i looked down and saw the yellow flags waven...and i remember seeing a bunch of yellow flags down there throughout the day...i just took my first shower since friday night and boy...did it feel good
Posted by: mspegal
I was racing in teh Vet 30+ class on Saturday, I was in the 2nd gate and in first place. I wrecked on the step down triple. I just want to know if anyone saw what happend. I can't remember anything. I know that somehow my helmt was still tightly buckle and was ripped off my head. I just want to know, so it won't happen again.
Posted by: TC426EX
Man, what happened to Farr? At least hes in 2nd in points overall... Sounds like he had some poor starts, and thats not like him...
Posted by: 450r51
all i have to say is that red riders are cleaning up this year Farr and Natalie r crushing the competition. hope to see Natalie stay with honda for along time and have him keep winning.
Posted by: Quadude32
I Hope Natalie's standing's stay they were saying he was under protest for rough riding(Last event ?) and his point's for the day might not stay(Red Bud) But he is appealing it....Travis Spader wasn't aloud to race do to he didnt sign up before he went out for practise so the top 5 can really change.
Posted by: Harvey
When will they hear about Natalie's appeal? Wonder if the pro's don't get paid until it's all settled.
Posted by: Jeff2269
When are all the pics and story going to be up????? anyone have video of it yet?

I don't know what race you were watching, I saw Dana mop up on everyone execpt Goodman in the qualifier on Saturday. He had an ankle brace on so maybe hes not 100% yet. That was a great weekend and intense racing.

Red Bud was awesome! One of the greatest battles I've seen this year with Natalie and Gust they were absolutely haulin'. It was amazing to see how much the attendance grew from just last year. I was wondering though, does anyone know why Luburgh wasn't racing?
