A FREIND OF MINE HAS A 1986 250R FRAME AND HE WONT GIVE ME A PRICE. HE WANTS ME TO MAKE THE PRICE. THERE IS NO CRACKS AND IT NEEDS TO BE BLASTED AND POWDERED. ANY OFFERS.

I got my frame, in almost mint condition, no rust, and only 2 minor cracks for 440 but that did include shipping. I would say offer him 300 dollars, something tell's me he wants you to make the offer because he isn't shure what it's worth. One like that can sell for probably 300 up to 500 dollars if you found the right person to buy it.

I paid $200 for my '86 frame with Pro Pegs but it had a crack near the subframe. The previous owner let a 3 year old weld with two broken arms do the welding job on the (2) lower mounts
.
Like FontMonster said, $300~$500 is about the normal price. Check for cracks near the subframe to mainframe area, steering stem mount, rear shock tower mount and front motor mount.

Hate to sound like ai dick but if there is no cracks/previous welds and he doesn't know what he can get,low ball him and say 200 you might make out on the deal. Also check around the seat latch area, thats another problem area
