ok guys now as u know my 400ex is stock if i had a pipe, high compression piston and an oversized sleeze will it do the work in kickin a stock yfz ?
and if yes then would there be any problems ? i mean when im riding i dont usually race my quad i just ride for about 3 or 4 hours a day in the summer and sometimes the temp in UAE gets 36 or 39 so will there be any hard effect
on the motor after the mods ?

well i dont know y ur so worried if ur gonna beat a a 450 if u dont race. But if i were u and u were j/w i would do a 416 stage 2 hotcams full exsaust and a port and polish.i mean while its all taken apart just get it polished right. thats all i can think of so good luck with it.

Going to need more than a mildly built 416 to take a yfz.

cuz in the summer its very hot!!!

You could put on some air scoops and run a little bit cooler plug to help with the heat. The mods you talk about probably are not going to help you beat a 450. Now if you throw in a cam, make your compression 12:1, then maybe on a straight stock 450. Hope this helps.
