Cannondale Updates??

Im looking at a used cannondale, and the owner is unsure of if the cannondale has been updated. He said he brought it to the cannondale shop every 6 months to get serviced, but he didnt know if it had the updates or not. Is there anyway for me to check, without ripping the whole engine apart, if this quad has had the updates. If the motor-mount is updated, would it be safe to assume it has the stud-8 and the crank bearing update? let me know, thanks

always assume the worst, if the owners don't know, it probably doesn't have it.

Theres really no way to see whats in there till its dropped and open. The motor mount update will be one long bolt on the front mounts instead of two. Its an easy update to do and its really not related to the crank and stage 8 updates. Tearing one down is really not as complicated as one would think. You can get an engine manual and all the info you need at cannondaleriders.
