Walsh C-Dale or Moto??

(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

They are about the same price. I think i know the walsh is about 12000 how much for the Moto??? I think the walsh will have a long wait with the pep shocks and them making the a-arms but it would be sweet. I dont know if i could handle the wait just knowing i have the cash so i think i want the moto but want everyones honest opinion? Thanks

Posted by: dawzie

you are right about the wait. up to a year. I lucked out and got his old one. It is sweet, but those Moto's are really sweet too. We race an EX. This is our third season and in expert class. We have over $20,000 invested in the EX. You will only have about $13,000 in the C-dale and I think it's going to be less trouble than a EX. I was at a race today with Walsh. He is now a factory racer for C-dale. In the proAm class he was 17 seconds ahead of second place.

I seen a walsh C-dale at jackfrost the other weekend and this thing was SWEET!!!!! He said it costed him like 11,800. I would definatley pick it over the moto440 but its the wait that sucks.

MOTO...why wait a year and a half? Moto's are still stupid fast!

Posted by: mrusk

There is no reason in the world to buy the moto when you can get the walsh cannondale that has better parts, better shocks, for less money.

Buy the walsh.

get it. I'd rather wait for the better parts than worry about breaking stockers.

Posted by: 400exBro

walsh c-dale for sure!!!!
Why are you getting a c-dale, are u going to sell your ex................
Bro

No offense, but how spoiled r u or do ur parents make money like its going outta style? I live in a rich town no one has that much money for the kids, is ur dad into the sprot big time too. jw. I would get the walsh. You already have a sweet ex so just wait and upgrade the ex a little bit more. my .02

Ya i want to sell my ex and get something better. If you know someone that want one let me know. My dad is dead so no help from him. And i usually just save and beg for something i need or want from my mom couse she still doesnt get the whole atv thing.

oh man that sucks ,what happened to ur dad?

Posted by: Foxrage

Car wreck.

Posted by: Nausty

can somone plz give me a link or show me a picture of one of these walsh c-dales or a link to a walsh site?

Posted by: Foxrage

There is one in the newest dirtwheels clear in the back and the add for it is in the atvsport.

Posted by: Nausty

any chance somone could scan a picture or take a close up pick if its a good one with a digital camera. I would definitely go with the walsh

Posted by: EX 80

Next time the walsh's are at the races I'll take pics of thier quads for ya. They are usually there. June 16th.

Posted by: Nausty

thanks

You're right it is a long wait. But, it is alot better bike for a cheaper price. It will turn more heads at a track than just a regular moto 440 also. If I wanted a cannondale to race mx I would ride what I have now and pay most off on the c-dale while they were building it. It is well worth the wait imho.

Just my 02. cents

Posted by: DillonTMNT

I am with Lrd_Shee..you have a great quad now. I would just wait and get the better quad. oh well you do what ya got to do. yi=ou will have a great quad anyway you go. Sorry to hear about your dad......

Posted by: 400exBro

screw the wait, in the end up with a great c-dale that won't snap the frame or other stuff, plus less money, plus way better product than the stock c-dale,
trust us all get the walsh you won't regret it...................
think about it.
Bro

Posted by: Nausty

I would definetly get the walsh and just save up on a down payment. Its not like you can't ride at all. At least you can ride the four wheeler you got.

Posted by: mrusk

You would be a retart to get the moto. Order the walsh now and when it is ready sell your 400ex. Simple as that

matt

Posted by: freeridin400ex

......he would be a real retart huh? haha j/p

i can understand not wantin to wait, the walsh would be nice but unless ur a great rider u wont notice too much of a difference

Posted by: dawzie

the one that is in the picture is the one I own

Posted by: EX 80

why did it take so long for you to get if it was all built?

Posted by: Foxrage

They have to make the parts set up the shocks and all the other bull****. Im just stickin with my 400 and doin stuff to it. Or should i get the Walsh C-dale.

Posted by: Nausty

depends how much money ya got. If money is a concern, keep the 400 and mod it. If it isn't, get the walsh and ya got a full blown race quad thats reliable.

Posted by: Zero Z400

I'd get the walsh and just ride ur 400 till u get it. You'll barely need to mod it. Like nuasty said, if money isn't a concern get the walsh, if it is mod the ex.

Well im convinced im going to try as hard as i can to convince my mom to preorder a Walsh because I saw the dirt bike at the race it just and moto at a race again and they got the holeshot everytime. I might just have to wait till i get half the money. is 6 so have about 2000 when i sell my bayou then 2000 when i sell my 400 because i have to use the rest to pay off then i will start growing wakkky weed to get the other 2000 then i can have one. Anyone Know of a place i can get a job? What else would i have to do to it after i got it swing arm? Dawzie do you have any pics of yours i want pics.

Posted by: Foxrage

Ok well i finally found a decent pic of a c dale with some walsh things. Here it is.

It was taken at the dealer show in Indy!

Posted by: EX 80

Nausty- I told you a while back in this post i'd get pics of Mike Walsh's Cannondale at the next race. Well it was yesterday, I didn't have a chance to take any pics. I was going to wait until the last moto of his but, the races got canceled 3/4's of the way through due to heavy rain. Walsh did race one moto that i watched. He didn't have his 250R or the cannondale. He had a CRF450 in his own frame, i am pretty sure its a 440 now though. In the moto i watched Jasmin Plante beat walsh. great race.

Posted by: dawzie

Yeah - I was told yesterday that Walsh hung up the 250R for the CRF. It is stroked to 440. I dont know how he will be able to run the CRF and the C-dale, but if he can he will.
