What is the best all around trail quad Raptor 660, TRX450r, Predator 500 or an 04 400ex.

i would have to say a 400ex.

in the trails the newer ones are nicer because of the reverse, but its not that big of a deal

tough decision they all seem to hold there own but from personal experience i would say 400ex

id say Preditor. There really fun to ride on the trails and have alot of power. But the 400ex is just as good, not as fast, but just as fun. Theres also alot of aftermarket parts for both bikes so you can do alot with either one.

I would also say 400ex. The 450's have a high first gear but if you are riding open fast trails then the 450r is perfect.

i dont think predators make good trail quads. When I rode one, I had a hard time getting traction, and they dont have enough low end like a 400ex. plus they are heavy

id pick a 400ex or 450

Its all in the riding you do. Trail riding is a very vague discription...there is alot of different trail riding. For technical stuff..I'd say the Raptor. Thats just personal experiance though.

for really tight stuff get a 300 and mod the he!! out of it

do not get a 300! not enough power. there would be no point in geting one and spending alot of money modding it when yo can get a 400 with much better power andalot cheaper than putting alot of upgrades on it.

not a predator, thier way to wide for most trails unless its a fireroad. id say either a 400ex or a z400.

400ex is 375

z400 is 372.

Not tottaly sure but in that area. I have a 400ex and my dad has a z400.
